Sometimes you know exactly what you are looking for, but finding the right cabinet turns out to be harder than expected. For Eva and her family, one thing was clear: the cabinet had to be not only beautiful but also practical for everyday life with children.

There needed to be room for stylish accessories, without little hands being able to reach everything. At the same time, they wanted ample storage space at the bottom for toys and other items. A cupboard that brings tranquility to the interior and fits in with family life.

From housing dream to custom design

During their search, Eva and her partner quickly realized that standard cabinets often didn't quite meet their needs. Many compartments were too small, and the available colors didn't match their interior. They specifically wanted larger compartments for accessories such as vases and decorations, as well as a cabinet that blended seamlessly into the space.

The wish was therefore clear: a cabinet in exactly the same color as the wall, to create a single, calm whole in the living room.

Via TOSIZE.es, they discovered the possibility of designing a cabinet themselves. This immediately provided much more freedom. They extensively shifted compartment divisions, dimensions, and layouts around until everything was just right.

Suddenly, there it was: the design. Everything felt right, and we were immediately enthusiastic.

Self-assembly and finishing

After a short production time, the cabinet was delivered. Together, they assembled the cabinet in two evenings. Thanks to the clear construction plan, this was manageable and actually fun to work on together.

Primed MDF was chosen so that the cabinet could be finished entirely in the desired color. After sanding and cleaning, the cabinet was painted in the same color as the wall: Mushroom. It is precisely this finish that ensures the cabinet blends seamlessly into the interior.

A wardrobe that really suits the family

The end result exceeded all expectations. The large open compartments provide space for accessories and styling, while the closed storage space at the bottom works perfectly for toys and everyday items.

The cabinet now forms a real eye-catcher in the living room, without looking cluttered. Practical, stylish, and fully tailored to their own wishes.
