Bar table in front of the window of Timmerpanel Grenen

On the site of the old kitchen we made a custom bar counter for the window, so that we can work, read, have breakfast or draw here with a nice view of the front garden :). Perhaps we will paint it later in a color, but for now we really like the natural wood grain! We are very happy with the end result and are here very often!

How did you make a table?

We have ordered the shelf in the full width of the living room and in the correct depth, so that you can easily fit with your legs under it when you are sitting on a bar stool. We then measured and sketched the corners of the windowsill and sawed out with a jigsaw. In addition, the edge on the front was lightly sanded to prevent splinters. The top rests on the old windowsill by the frame and on two wooden supports on the sides.
