The design features closed doors and an open compartment in the center for all your appliances. The panels are carefully sanded and lacquered for a perfect finish.
Perfect placement in the living room
Dylan chose to give the piece a central place in the living room. Combining functionality and design, it offers ample storage without overwhelming the space. The black piece contrasts beautifully with a light floor, instantly giving the room a modern and warm feel.
Unique features and benefits
What makes this piece of furniture unique is the combination of closed storage space and a central open compartment. This allows you to both organize your appliances and display your favorite decorative items. Moreover, the use of MDF not only provides a smooth finish but is also cost-effective.
Japandi Style
The Japandi style, a blend of Japanese and Scandinavian influences, is known for its minimalist and functional aesthetic. This piece exudes the simplicity and elegance associated with this style. It's a perfect choice for those seeking peace and order in their homes.
More about MDF
MDF is an ideal material because of its smooth surface and versatility. It's easy to paint and handles precision cuts. MDF is often chosen for custom projects because of its affordability and durability.
More about Plywood Interior Poplar B/BB
For parts of this piece of furniture, Dyland also chose Plywood Interior Poplar B/BB. This lightweight yet stable panel material consists of multiple thin layers of wood veneer. Because poplar wood is naturally light, the furniture remains easy to handle during assembly – ideal for a DIY project.
DIY tips
A tip for working with MDF: be sure to seal the edges well with a primer before painting. This prevents the paint from being absorbed and ensures a smooth finish.

Step by step guide
Preparation
- Our TV stand needed replacing, so we'd prefer to make it ourselves, of course! We designed it, filled out the cutting list for custom sawing, and immediately started joining the parts after delivery.
Montage
- Screw connections are often used, further reinforced with glue. The furniture begins to take shape once the hinges are installed and the shelves are in place.
Finish
- Sanding, painting, sanding, painting, and more sanding and painting. The result is impressive!
